"We switched our defense early in the game," said Lady Roadrunners head coach Nicole Collier. "They gave us an opportunity to get defensive stops. I thought we overshot the three-point shot in the first half. I'm not happy with the win. It wasn't done the way we play in my opinion. We gave up too many offensive rebounds. I'm not happy with the way we played. We had moments with the way we moved the ball and our tempo and the way we passed the ball but, there were more moments of undisciplined basketball."
Freshman guard Maliyah White of Minneapolis, Minn. led the Lady Roadrunners in scoring with 25 points off the bench and led the in steals with three. Freshman guard Chloe Reed of Wentzville, Mo. Reed also pitched in with 14 points. Sophomore guard/forward Carolyn Foster of O'Fallon, Ill. added 11 points and a team-high nine rebounds. Freshman guard Kamaree Pollard of Mt.
