Roadrunners pick up road victory

"There was rain throughout the entire day," said Roadrunners Head Soccer Coach Jaime Beltran. "It was a pretty messy game because of the field conditions. We played well. We only gave up four shots and recorded 12 shots on goal ourselves. We were dominant between the 18-yard boxes. Water on the field clearly affected one of our shots, but their goalkeeper made a couple of good saves too."
The only goal of the match came from freshman forward Francisco Zubia off a pass from freshman midfielder Zakariya Abdi.
SFCC (7-5-1) did the job defensively to help preserve the shutout.
Sophomore goalkeeper Nicolas Olmos got the start in net for SFCC and made four saves.
