Bio
Bryan Adams is in his first season as the Assistant Basketball Coach for the Roadrunners.
Adams brings experience as both a collegiate assistant coach and high school head coach, as well as collegiate playing experience, to the position. He played college basketball at William Jewell College and Missouri Southern State University.
He most recently served as an assistant coach at Central Methodist University from June 2022 through July 2025, where he managed individual and team skill workouts throughout the season and off-season. Adams also organized individual and group study programs to boost team academic performance, including the overall team grade point average. He recruited student-athletes to both the varsity and developmental teams and served as the head coach for the developmental team during the 2022–2023 season. Adams scouted opponents and developed strategic, effective game plans. He was also responsible for planning and executing several successful fundraising events.
During his time at Central Methodist, Adams also served as a Resident Hall Director, overseeing day-to-day operations, services, and activities of the residence halls. He supervised undergraduate staff and developed a team for implementing hall activities and programs.
Adams was the Head Boys Basketball Coach in the Diamond School District from August 2019 through May 2022. He also served as an Assistant Baseball Coach while teaching high school physical education and middle school health.
From June 2016 through May 2019, Adams taught in the Lamar School District, where he served as an Assistant Basketball Coach and Assistant Baseball Coach.
Adams earned his Bachelor of Science in Education from Missouri Southern State University in 2016. He also holds a Master of Education with an emphasis in Athletic Administration from Central Methodist University, which he earned in 2024.
