"Wassmann had a record-breaking year for us," said Roadrunners head coach Jud Kindle. "He broke our single-season home run record along with our career home run record. He was the catalyst for our offense this year. He hit for a high average, for him to be able to put the numbers up that he did with teams pitching around him was pretty incredible. He was a big offensive threat for us for two years. He really put together good numbers this year. We were blessed to have him for two years."
