SFCC Basketball teams prepare for postseason action

Sedalia, Mo.- Both State Fair Community College (SFCC) basketball teams are busy preparing for the upcoming Region 16 Tournaments.

The third-seeded Roadrunners will take on the second-seeded Three Rivers College Raiders on Thursday, March 5 in Poplar Bluff, Mo. Three Rivers has won two of the three regular-season matchups so far this season however, the Roadrunners were victorious in the most recent matchup 74-72 on Feb. 14. Tipoff is set  for 7 p.m.

The sixth-ranked Lady Roadrunners will be the number one seed in the Women's Region16 Division I Basketball Tournament. SFCC will host Crowder College on March 10. Tipoff from the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center is scheduled for 6 p.m. Admission will be five dollars for everyone, children 12 and under will be admitted free. No passes will be allowed for the Region Tournament.
